March is National DVT Awareness Month
Each year nearly 1 million Americans are diagnosed with a venous Thromboembolism (VTE). VTE is the third most common vascular disorder after heart disease and stroke. Yet may people have no knowledge of what a VTE is or how to prevent them. 2009 Clinical Practice Guidelines
